Police appeal for information after report of barriers theft

Police in Lisburn are appealing for information after a report of theft sometime between 10pm on Sunday, August 3 and 9am on Monday, August 4.

It is believed that around 60 1.8-metre high security barriers were stolen at the junction of the Hannahstown Road/Rock Road and the Cochranstown Road areas.

The barriers have an estimated value of around £2,000-£2500.

Enquiries are continuing.

Police would ask anyone who may have witnessed the incident or anyone who is offered the barriers for sale to contact them at Lisburn on the non-emergency number, 101.
