Police appeal for information on culture office bomb

POLICE in Londonderry want to speak to taxi drivers and members of the public who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the lead up to the bombing of the City of Culture offices on Wednesday (October 12).

The PSNI would like to speak to anyone who saw anything suspicious between 9pm and 9.30pm in relation to the bombing.

Police are particularly interested in speaking to any taxi drivers who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the areas of Magazine Street, Waterloo Street and the Guildhall Square. Police are aware of a number of members of the public walking through the area at the time and are keen to speak to them.

Anyone with information on this attack or anyone who may have been in the area and noticed suspicious behaviour to contact CID at Strand Road on 0845 600 8000, alternatively information can be passed anonymously via the independent Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.
