Police appeal for road crash witnesses

POLICE have renewed an appeal for witnesses to a road accident which killed a 21-year-old English woman in July.

The two vehicle collision on the Ballymena Road outside Doagh killed Michelle Hulford from Luton who was travelling with a local family who were hosting her visit to Northern Ireland.

The collision between the Audi A6 saloon car and a red short-wheelbase Land Rover 4x4 which was towing a silver Ifor Williams trailer happened on the morning of Monday, July 9.

Police investigating the incident want to speak to two potential witnesses who had stopped at the scene.

Police have appealed for the driver of a white van and the driver of another white vehicle that was towing a trailer with a lawn mower on it to come forward.

Both drivers stopped at the scene but have not yet spoken to police.

Police would ask both drivers or anyone who believes they know them to come forward and speak to officers in the Collision Investigation Unit in Steeple, Antrim on 0845 600 8000.
