Police appeal for witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses following an injury RTC which occurred on the Greenmount Road, Coleraine at approximately 9.00am on Wednesday, 15 April.

A navy Citroen C4 reversed into an elderly female who was walking behind the rear bumper of the car at the time. She was taken to hospital for treatment to her injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.

The driver of the vehicle has been spoken to, however Police would appeal to anyone else who may have witnessed this incident to contact them at Coleraine on the non-emergency number 101.
