Police appeal for witnesses after collision

Police are appealing for witnesses to an erratic driver who was involved in collision on Monday evening.

Officers are keen to talk to anyone who may have been travelling on the Laganbank Road, Queens Road, Seymour Street and Belsize Road, Lisburn at around 10.30pm on Monday, October 17, and had to avoid a black Ford Focus which was being driven in an erratic manner.

The vehicle was involved in a collision at the junction of Wilmar Road.

Constable Baxter would appeal to anyone who has any information to contact police at Lisburn Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1400 of 17/10/16.

Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
