Police appeal for witnesses to road crash in Stewartstown after driver flees

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision in Stewartstown on April 30.

A silver BMW car struck a parked grey Honda Civic in Hillhead at around 7.25am. The driver made off from the scene.

The BMW is believed to have a blue front wing and investigating officer Constable Peter McGlinn is keen to hear from anyone who can identify the vehicle and it’s driver. The number to call is 101.

Meanwhile, police are also investigating damage to fencing at Drumglass High School on Carland Road, Dungannon.

Sections of the wooden perimeter fence were pulled down on Monday night, May 2.

There have been a number of other previous incidents of criminal damage at the school and police are appealing for help in identifying those responsible. The number to call is 101.
