Police choir to perform as part of celebrations

AS part of First Rathfriland’s 350th anniversary celebrations the Senior Citizens’ Fellowship are organising what promises to be a wonderful concert featuring the Police Male Voice Choir and their invited guests in Rathfriland High School on Friday, November 9, at 8pm.

The Police Choir is celebrated for its entertaining and beautiful concerts. There is little that can compare to the sound of 40 well-honed bass, baritone and tenor voices singing in perfect harmony. The choir will render many well-known and much loved secular and sacred pieces, all with their own unique flavour.

To complement the choir, the compere for the evening will keep us entertained with a delicious sense of humour, interspersing the singing with entertaining stories. In addition there will be a number of guest performers including Gillian McClutchen, clarinet impresario and Susan Graham, the renowned soprano.
