Police donate fridges to good causes
The Macedon Neighbourhood Policing Team has donated eight fridges to local charities, community organisations and families.
Groups and individuals were able to enter the draw for the white goods via the PSNI Newtownabbey and Carrickfergus Facebook page, with Alderman Billy DeCourcy drawing the names of the lucky winners.
The fridges, which all came from within the police establishment, were handed over to several local families and organisations including a wildlife centre and a church.
