Police find drugs after stopping car

Police have arrested three men on suspicion of possession of class B drugs and possession of class B drugs with intent to supply after stopping a car on the evening of Friday 10 January.

The car was stopped on the Portrush Road, Ballymoney, and found to contain a significant quantity of class B drugs, believed to be herbal cannabis. The car and the suspected cannabis was taken away for further examination.

Officers following up on the arrests and drugs find, carried out a second search, this time of a house in the Knockanteran area of Coleraine. One man was arrested at this house, on suspicion of possession of class B drugs.
