Police helicopter search triggered by youth in Moneymore
A juvenile has been cautioned by police following a late-night helicopter search operation in Moneymore.
Eye witnesses reported that police air support had been circling the village late on Tuesday night.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said: “Police were assisted by officers from the air support unit during an ongoing search in the Moneymore area at around 10pm on December 8.
“As a result, one juvenile was cautioned for a number of offences and will be reported to the PPS.”
