The objective of the event was to offer information about careers available within the Police Service to young people as they move on to the next level of their University or vocational training.

This seminar provided an opportunity to showcase a wide spectrum of police and support service roles available in the Police, including legal services, corporate communications, training, Crime scene investigators and analysts.

Speaking about the event, F District Service Delivery Superintendent, Alywin Barton said: “This is a wonderful opportunity for careers teachers and young people to come along and see what types of Police and Support careers are available within the Police Service and how they all work together to deliver a personal, professional, protective policing service.

“The Police Service offers a huge range of opportunities, both as a police officer and in a support role.”
