Police hunt Eglinton tool thieves

Police in Foyle are appealing for information about the theft of tools from the white van in the area of Main Street in Eglinton.

A tradesman who was working in the area had parked his white Toyota Hius van near the Old Bank in Eglinton. Sometime between 12.30pm and 3pm a number of tools were stolen including 2 saws and a diamond tipped circular cutting blade.

Anyone with information or been offered these items for sale in suspicious circumstances is asked to contact police on 0845 600 8000. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555111.
