Police hunt hijacker
DETECTIVES have issued an appeal for information following the hijacking of a car in the Dermont Road area of Mallusk on Saturday evening, February 23.
Shortly before 6.40pm it was reported that an unknown male had forced a female driver out of her blue coloured Mazda 5 Sport car before driving off in it. The car was found burnt out in the nearby Boghill Road area a short time later.
The female occupant of the car was not injured, but left badly shaken by her ordeal. The hijacker is described as being approximately 5’6” tall, well built and was wearing a black coloured hooded top.
