Police hunt petrol station fuel thieves

A number of reports have been received of an older style black Renault Clio or a red Renault Scenic being used to steal fuel.

Occupants of the two vehicles have been filling fuel tanks located in the boot of the vehicles and making off without paying, with in excess of 100 in fuel being taken each time.

Anyone with information about the incidents should contact police in C District by calling 0845 600 8000, alternatively information about crime can be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
