Police hunt shopping centre burglar
DETECTIVES in Londonderry are appealing for information following a burglary at a shopping centre in Shantallow.
At 7.35am on Sunday, 18 September, a male entered the shopping centre through a skylight. He proceeded to smash a number of vending machines in the centre before making off with a sum of cash. He exited the premises through the skylight at 7.44am.
The roof of the shopping centre is visible from the Glengalliagh Road and police are appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time and observed anyone on the roof of the centre or making off to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
