Police investigate alleged assault near Woodburn Forest
Police have confirmed they are investigating a report of an assault on a man in his 60s in the Paisley Road area of Carrickfergus.
A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said a call was received at 4:27pm on Tuesday, May 31 for a man who had fallen and sustained head, neck and back injuries.
“A Rapid Response Paramedic arrived at the scene in nine minutes and the patient was taken to Antrim Area Hospital for treatment,” the spokesperson added.
