Police investigate Antrim burglary
Detectives in Antrim are appealing for information following a burglary at a house in the Barra Street area of the town.
Detective Inspector Millar said: “There was a disturbance reported in the area of Barra Street at approximately 2:30am on Sunday, October 16. On attendance of police, it was discovered that entry had been gained to a premises and a television and a sum of cash had been stolen.
“We are appealing for anyone with information who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or have information about the incident to contact Detectives at Antrim Station on 101 quoting 222 16/10/16. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
