Police investigate attack
Police are appealing for witnesses after a 26 year old man was attacked in Carrickfergus on Sunday December 2.
It is understood four or five males may have set upon the victim as he walked from a local nightspot along Davys Street during the early hours of the morning, possibly shortly after midnight.
He sustained a number of injuries to his face and head that required medical treatment.
Officers are seeking witnesses to the attack and can be contacted at Newtownabbey police station on 0845 600 8000.
