Police investigate attempted break in at car wash

Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted theft in Ballyclare.

The Times understands the incident occurred on February 27, but details were only made public by the police today.

Detailing the incident, Constable Rutherford said: “At around 4.40am on Tuesday, February 27, two males attempted to break into a car wash machine at the Templepatrick Road Service Station, Ballyclare.

“I know that several vehicles passed the garage during this time. I am keen to speak to anyone who may have been on the Templepatrick Road around this time.”
