Police investigate Ballyclare assault

Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in the Grange Estate in the early hours of Sunday, September 11.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Between the hours of 12am and 3:30am it was reported that a male in his early 30s had been assaulted. The male received hospital treatment for his injuries which are not believed to be life threating.

Police are appealing for anyone who has any information regarding this incident to contact Newtownabbey Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 634 on 11/09/16. Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
