Police investigate damage caused to railway bridge

Police in Antrim are appealing for witnesses after significant damage was cause to a Northern Ireland Railways bridge last week.

Constable Stephen Blair said: “We believe a high vehicle was travelling along Stiles Way towards the Greystone roundabout and struck the bridge sometime between 4pm on Monday, August 8 and 10am the following day.

“Anyone with information about the collision is asked to contact us on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 331 of 10/08/16.”
