Police investigate Glengormley '˜hate crime'
Police are appealing for witnesses following a hate-related incident at St Mary's on The Hill Church.
A sectarian slogan was painted on the doors of the church some time between 5.45pm on Monday, May 9 and 9.00am on Tuesday, May 10.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “We are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who has any information that could assist with the investigation to contact us in Newtownabbey Police Station on the non-emergency number 101. Information can also be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Please quote reference number: 355 of 10/5/16.”
