Police investigate '˜hit and run'

The Times understands the incident took place on February 13, but details were only made public by the police on February 24.

Detailing the incident, a PSNI spokesperson said: “Did you witness a hit and run traffic collision on February 13 at the food court carpark at the Abbeycentre?

“The driver of a silver coloured Audi parked their car at approximately 1:30pm and on their return that afternoon they discovered damage to the driver’s side of the car. If you know anything about this please contact police on 101, quoting serial 1333 13/02/17.”
