Police investigate Mallusk theft

Police are appealing for information after a van, containing high value tools, was stolen in Mallusk on Sunday, October 16.

It is believed that the white Peugeot Partner van, registration number VJZ 6281, was stolen from a yard on the Mallusk Road at about 9pm. A dark coloured estate car may have been involved in the theft.

Constable Ryan Stewart said: “Thanks to the owner fitting a tracker to the van, it was recovered in the Dundalk area on Monday, October 17, however the tools have not been recovered. Some of the tools include a welder, a plasma cutter, two impact guns and a number of tool boxes.
