Police investigate suspicious activity in Jordanstown

Detailing the incident, a PSNI spokesperson said: “Between 10:30pm and 11pm last night (October 6), a resident of the Meadowlands area looked out her upstairs window and observed a male, on her garage roof, looking back at her.

“The male was described as being approximately 18 years of age, with sandy hair and wearing a white coloured hooded top. On seeing the occupant, this male made off.

“Whilst unsure of this males intentions, we would appeal to all residents of the Newtownabbey area to remain vigilant. Before going to bed at night, make sure all doors and windows are securely locked (including upstairs windows). Over the past few months there have been a number of domestic burglaries in the area.

“If you observe any suspicious behaviour such as this, contact the police immediately on 999.”
