Police issue assault witnesses appeal

Police in Banbridge are investigating a report of an assault.

Const. Lindsay Playforth said, “We are seeking witnesses following an assault on Kenlis Street, Banbridge.

“The incident happened just after midnight on Wednesday July 8th, and as part of ongoing police enquiries we are now seeking witnesses.

“One 40 year old male was assaulted.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed anything, and are particularly keen to hear from anyone who noticed a man, described as having dark hair, wearing blue jeans and had been walking two large brown dogs, another male who had a dark Mohican style haircut, wearing a t-shirt and jeans and had tattoos down both arms, and a red-haired female seen in the area around this time.
