Police issue fresh appeal over Rasharkin
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Sectarianism is a problem that will only be solved by the community. Police have to deal with the end result which is people being assaulted and some times property being damaged and tensions in the community but we are also conscious that the vast majority of people in Rasharkin get on fine with their neighbours and want to live and let live."
The first incident happened around 7.30am on Tuesday June 15 when there was what police believe was a "verbal confrontation" between two males in the vicinity of a shop at Main Street.
