Police make appeal following Ballysally incident

Detectives in Coleraine are appealing for information after a report of criminal damage at a house in the Ballysally Road area on Thursday night.

Detective Constable Vicki Green said: “Around 11 pm, it was reported the front window of a property was smashed and a petrol bomb, which failed to ignite, thrown in. A woman in her thirties was in the property at the time.

“I appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact CID at Coleraine on the non-emergency number 101. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
