Police news in Ballycastle
A man in his thirties has been arrested and charged for the possession of an offensive weapon and possession of a Class A drug and a second male was arrested and also charged to court for possession of an offensive weapon. The arrests and charges came after a vehicle was searched on Saturday 17 August in the Carrickmore Road area of Ballycastle.
Police are also investigating reports that a car has had a window smashed whilst parked along Garron Road and that personal items were removed from the car. The incident is believed to have occurred on Saturday 17 August.
