Police received a report of a scam telephone call made to an elderly woman in the Dunloy area on Thursday 13 November. Following the incident, Inspector David Anderson would advise people not to provide personal details over the phone to cold callers. If you are concerned about scam telephone calls or want some crime prevention contact our Crime Prevention Officer on 101.

Police are investigating a burglary at a house in the Raceview Road area of Ballymoney sometime between the night of Wednesday 12 November and the morning of Thursday 13 November. A bicycle and a number of other household items are thought to have been taken.

Police arrested a 43 year old woman on suspicion of theft and handling stolen goods after a house was searched in the Boyland Road area of Ballymoney. Police have seized a number of items and the woman has been bailed as the investigation continues.

Police arrested a 28 year old man on suspicion of driving whilst unfit following a road traffic collision in the Meeting House Street area of Ballymoney. The arrest was made just before 1:30am on Sunday 16 November after a car crashed into a traffic island. The man was released on bail pending further enquiries.

Police arrested a 25 year old man on suspicion of possession of class B drugs following a search in Cloughmills on Sunday 16 November. The man was released pending further police enquiries.
