Police on beach tragedy
FOLLOWING the death of an 11 year old girl at the Runkerry Beach, Portballintrae area on Sunday 15th July, police are appealing for information regarding the incident.
Shortly after 2pm, it was reported that the young girl found herself in difficulty in the water and subsequently drowned. Police are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
