Police probe disturbance in Bleary

Police are probing reports of threats and criminal damage after a disturbance in the Bleary area near Lurgan.

A spokesperson for the PSNI said the altercation happened on the Sugar Island Road.

The spokesperson said: “Around 3.30pm on Wednesday, 7 October, a number of people were involved in a disturbance/altercation.

“There are reports of threats and criminal damage.

“Police are working to establish the exact circumstances of this incident.

“They believe there were a number of cars in the area at the time,” said the spokesperson

Police are appealing to anyone who was driving past and who witnessed this incident to contact them in Lurgan on 101, quoting re: 771 071015.”
