Police probe Larne arson attack

A car was set on fire and three people were seen running away from the area. The vehicle was destroyed in the blaze.

An attempt was also made to set another car alight, but this failed to ignite. Both cars have been recovered.

Inspector Simpson said: “I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact Larne Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1380 of 28/06/16. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
