Police probe separate assaults
TWO separate assaults took place in Cookstown last Saturday (May 22) and police are appealing for information.
A 15-year-old was reportedly assaulted inside licensed premises, where he had been attending a youth disco. The injuries he received required stitches.
Also on the same evening, a male teenager was walking at William Street when he was approached by a number of youths who assaulted him. The boy sustained facial injuries which required hospital treatment.
