Police probe spate of weekend burglaries

Detectives are appealing for information after a spate of burglaries in the Larne borough on Friday evening.

Shortly before 3:10pm, it was reported that a sum of money was taken from a house in the Croft Road area at Carnlough.

Sometime between 5:30am and 3:30pm, it was reported that entry was gained into a house in the Mounthill Road, Larne area. Nothing is believed to have been taken during the incident.

At around 6:45pm, it was reported that entry was gained into a house in the Ballymullock Road area of Larne. Nothing is believed to have been taken.

Police said they were investigating a possible link between the incidents at the Ballymullock Road and Mounthill Road areas. Enquiries are continuing.
