Police probe two burglaries

Ballymena detectives are investigating two burglaries in the town, on Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 May.

On Wednesday, police received a report that a flat on Francis Street in the Harryville area was broken into.

A television, DVD player and a number of CDs are thought to have been taken during the break in.

Police are investigating a second suspected burglary, on Thursday 22 May, after a business premises on Hill Street was broken into overnight, with a small sum of cash and a laptop taken.

Detectives do not believe that these two incidents are linked, but are keen to speak to anyone who may know anything about the circumstances.

This includes anyone who has been offered electrical goods for sale in suspicious circumstances.
