Police release CCTV images following spate of distraction burglaries

POLICE have released CCTV images of a group of people they believe may be involved in distraction burglaries in the Coleraine area.

At least seven distraction burglaries have been reported to police in the past few months.

In each of the incidents, a group of men and women have entered shops or off licenses, and while some members of the group distract counter staff, others enter store rooms and staff rooms stealing money, stock and personal items.
