Police in Ballymena are investigating a report that a man was chased by a number of males and assaulted in the Duke Street area at around 1.30pm on Wednesday afternoon, August 6.

A PSNI spokesperson said enquiries into the matter are ongoing and that officers are “following a definite line of enquiry”.
