Police seeking 
information after 
livestock thefts

Three lambs were stolen this week from farmland on the Station Road, in Moira.

The lambs are ear tagged and one is a Bleu Du Maine breed distinctive because of the blue colouring on its face.

This particular lamb is a twin and the thieves left the other sibling behind. The other two lambs, are marked in red, though not Bleu Du Maine breed are similar in colouring.

Over the last few months there have been a number of sheep thefts in the district. If you may have noticed any one loading lambs into a vehicle in the vicinity of Station Road Moira please contact police in Lisburn with details.

In a separate incident a two foot tall dark brown Shetland Pony went missing from the Agars Road area of Lisburn on Tuesday evening.

Anyone who may know the whereabouts of the pony is asked to contact police in Lisburn.
