Larne PSNI commander Stephen McAuley commented: “It’s vitally important that police and the community work together to keep people safe and reduce the harm caused by drugs.

“Cannabis is an illegal drug and a drug that has the potential to adversely impact mental and physical well being. Drug dealers don’t care about their community, they are out to line their pockets irrespective of the consequences for others.

“That is why I am heartened to see the people of Larne and police work together to tackle drug dealing and keep people safe. If you have any information in relation to illegal drugs, please contact police on the non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
