Police seize illegal drugs worth £35k

A male was arrested after police officers seized approximately £35,000 worth of suspected Class A and Class B drugs in Newtownabbey.

Details of the incident, which took place on Tuesday, February 16, have only been released by the PSNI.

The male has since been released unconditionally.

The PSNI declined to give any further information about the exact location of the seizure.

Police in Newtownabbey have urged anyone with any information in relation to drug related matters to contact them on the non-emergency number 101. Information can also be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
