Police seize old gun in Wallace Park
POLICE in Lisburn received a report of a male acting suspiciously in Wallace Park at around 4pm on Saturday August 13.
Upon arrival officers retrieved what appeared to be an old BB gun from an area close to the band stand.
Due to its condition police believe the gun may have been in situ for quite some time and had been found by the male, picked up and discarded again.
The gun was seized by police. The park was not evacuated at any time.
