Police set to target metal theft and illegal waste
Police in the Portadown area are to target metal theft and illegal waste disposal aiming to raise awareness amongst scrap metal dealers.
The week of action will see officers visiting scrap metal dealers throughout Northern Ireland to check premises and offer them advice.
“The Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA) are available to offer advice to police officers who encounter illegal waste disposal,” said the PSNI.
