Police speed checks near Garryduff PS

The PSNI were out conducting speed checks near Garryduff Primary School today (Monday).

A post on PSNI Ballymoney’s Facebook page read: “A section from Coleraine today carried out a number of vehicle check points and speed checks around the primary school areas in Ballymoney.

“We had received a number of complaints about the speed of vehicles near Garryduff Primary School, and although this road is a 60mph limit we would urge drivers to take care when in this area. We have also contacted the Department of Rural Development to get signs displayed near the schools to warn oncoming traffic.

“We are happy to say everyone was within the speed limit today and no tickets had to be issued!

“Stay safe and have a great Monday. Constable JP - Local Policing Team”
