Police trying to trace two girls after girl assaulted in Dungannon

The incident was reported to have taken place on Tuesday, September 23 at 3.45pm.

Police are appealing for anyone with information on the attack to come forward.

Const. Cunningham said: “On Tuesday 23rd September at around 3.45pm, a girl was assaulted in the vicinity of Killymeal Road and Mullaghdun Lane.

“She sustained minor injuries, but police are keen to speak to anyone who noticed anything, particularly two girls seen in the area at this time.

“Police would like to speak with any witnesses to this assault. If you can help please call police on the 101 number, quoting reference number 57724915. Alternatively information about crime can be passed via the independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.”
