Police warn over theft of work tools

Police are advising building contractors and members of the public to keep their equipment secure when not in use.

If you are part of a contactor team or even working on your own and you have to use expensive equipment, don’t leave it lying around.

Make sure it is locked properly inside a vehicle or a hut. Making it harder for the criminal will make it easier on you. Anyone who would like further crime prevention advice is asked to contact their local crime prevention officer on 0845 600 8000.
