Police warn public after rural incident

Police in Banbridge are asking the rural community to be vigilant of suspicious activity.

The request follows an incident in Ardtanagh Road, Dromore, where entry was forced to an outbuilding.

Fortunately nothing was taken during the Dromore incident.

Constable Shauna Magennis called on members of the rural community to stay alert to such incidents. She said: “We are asking members of the rural community to be vigilant.

“If you notice a vehicle or any activity which looks out of place please pick up the phone and call us on 101.”
