A Lurgan PSNI spokesman said: “Please take care on the roads this morning as there has been a number of RTCs (Road Traffic Collisions) in the Lurgan area requiring the assistance of Fire Service and Ambulance.

“Thankfully no serious injuries have been reported.”

The warning follows a two-car crash on Lurgan’s Tandragee Road, which is causing long tailbacks.

It’s understood two vehicles collided close to the junction with the New Line refuse collection site.

The NI Fire and Rescue Service and the NI Ambulance Service are attending the scene. The road is open but with significant disruption.

Police have also reported a one vehicle RTC on the Newforge Road, Magheralin.

The road had been closed for a time at the stone bridge but now a single lane has been reopened.
