Police warning over dangerous scrambler driver in Draperstown area

Three motorists were given advice and warnings and a discretionary disposal was issued for a defective tyre.

On their Facebook page, the PSNI said: “Officers were also made aware of someone driving dangerously on a scrambler in and around the area.

“Police would ask parents to be aware of where scramblers are being ridden and ensure those using a scrambler are wearing the correct protective equipment.

“We are committed to keeping our roads safe, and will be conducting further proactive patrols in the area to deter anti-social driving and dangerous driving.”
