Polish motorist banned

A POLISH man from Kilrea was banned from driving following his appearance before North Antrim Magistrates' Court on Friday.

Arthur Iglinski (25) of Claragh Hill Park, pleaded guilty to driving with no licence, no insurance and MOT certificate.

Court heard that police were called to an road traffic accident in Portrush on February 27.

The defendant admitted having no insurance or no Vehicle Test Certificate for the Citroen he was driving.

Speaking on his own behalf the defendant told the court that he had been on his way fishing when he came to the attention of police.

District Judge, Richard Wilson fined the defendant 50 each for having no licence and MOT certificate and a 200 fine and six month ban for driving with no insurance.
